Music

In my life music has always been something that awakens me and makes me really thrive as a person. It has gotten me through a lot of things in my life both the happy days and the sad ones. It is something that I am always able to connect with on a more personal level. Here are some of my favorite songs.

1. Slip by Elliot Moss:
This at the moment is my favorite song to listen to. It has a very nice chill vibe to it. It is simple but yet somehow contains something deep that can allows you to get in touch with your emotions.

2. BITE by Troye Sivan:
The lyrics in this song are what really speak to me. "Kiss me on the mouth and set me free, sing me like a choir". Whenever I am listening to this song it reminds me of a simple time, but even when we think things are quite simple they're anything but that because we are always craving something more out of life.

3. Gold by Chet Faker:
This song is really good to listen to when studying or just daydreaming. I also really like to listen to this song when I am driving at night, it has a good bass sound to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi4pzKvuEQM

4. Fires by These are your Children:
I was scrolling through spotify in a really bummy mood when I came across this song. It gives a strong feeling of both empowerment and peace. It for some reason brings a smile on my face, it just has a good rhythm and really fits with the two voices joining together. https://soundcloud.com/theseyourchildren/fires

5. Cotton Headed by Coda:

This song is so good. Like I don't know how else to describe it. I am a HUGE fan of this artist, they have such good music and are bringing the meaning back to music. He (Aaron Johnson) writes about things he is passionate about, and nothing about it is offensive towards woman like most rap now days is. This song is chill along with motivating. Agh I just love it. https://soundcloud.com/aaron-johnson-161/cotton-headed
Here are few more of his songs, some ft. Vanessa Tong:

Hope you enjoyed! Talk to you soon :)
